Juventus discuss Ramsey contract termination after Rangers loan

Juventus are said to be negotiating with Aaron Ramsey to terminate his contract early, as Glasgow Rangers have no intention of making his loan spell permanent.

The midfielder arrived as a free agent from Arsenal in the summer of 2019, but after a promising debut season, struggled for playing time between injuries and poor form in Turin.

He was loaned to Rangers in January and made 13 competitive appearances, contributing two goals and two assists.

However, the Scottish side do not seem intent on making the move permanent, especially after he missed the decisive penalty in the Europa League Final shootout defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Finding a buyer is extremely difficult, so Calciomercao.it claim Juventus will again begin negotiations to terminate his contract early by mutual consent to get him off the wage bill.

His deal with the Bianconeri runs to June 2023 and he is one of the highest earners at the club at over €7m per season net.
