Juventus discuss Ramsey contract termination after Rangers loan

by | May 20, 2022 19:07

Juventus are said to be negotiating with Aaron Ramsey to terminate his contract early, as Glasgow Rangers have no intention of making his loan spell permanent.

The midfielder arrived as a free agent from Arsenal in the summer of 2019, but after a promising debut season, struggled for playing time between injuries and poor form in Turin.

He was loaned to Rangers in January and made 13 competitive appearances, contributing two goals and two assists.

However, the Scottish side do not seem intent on making the move permanent, especially after he missed the decisive penalty in the Europa League Final shootout defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Finding a buyer is extremely difficult, so Calciomercao.it claim Juventus will again begin negotiations to terminate his contract early by mutual consent to get him off the wage bill.

His deal with the Bianconeri runs to June 2023 and he is one of the highest earners at the club at over €7m per season net.

stay strong Ramsey stay away your bloody useless young Alex Lowery would without a doubt, and to crown it all Van Bronckhorst takes off Sakala who was having a good game
It should be Bronckhorst hanging his head for that decision

A bit harsh, better than Ramsey have missed penalties and will do again. Personally I’d rather have lost 2-1 than that, it is no more than a lottery. As for Gio making the decision, he should have had those guys on earlier to let them get up to speed. We may have lost in the most cruel way, but we are Rangers and do NOT turn on our own.

The best is yet to come. What a formidable unit PhD Max is going to have at his disposal. A nursing home patient returns part 2, older players arriving and even Arnautovic has been linked. That one might fail as he is still 3-5 years too young for the matrix revolution football that PhD Max is going to unleash. Bucklu up, get ready to fall asleep after 2 minutes.
