Juric: ‘Playing every three days difficult’

Genoa Coach Ivan Juric admits “playing every three days certainly doesn’t help” ahead of the Inter game but “we knew this was the fixture list”.

The Croatian replaced Davide Ballardini on the bench last month, but has had a baptism of fire on his return to the Grifone.

After a point in his first game against Juventus and another against Udinese, the Grifone lost to Milan and now face Inter, Napoli and Torino.

“Inter are a great team,” Juric said in his pre-match Press conference.

“They’ve made a leap in quality compared to the past. They know exactly what they’re doing on the pitch and they do it impeccably.

“We knew this was the fixture list, we've just got to accept it. Playing every three days certainly doesn’t help us.

“We played well against Milan and now we’ll try to repeat that against Inter.”
