Iturbe: ‘Roma back on track’

Juan Manuel Iturbe assures Roma “are back on track and want to win every game” to the end of the season.

The Giallorossi earned qualification to the Europa League Round of 16 and held Juventus to a 1-1 draw in Serie A despite being down to 10 men.

“I did not start this season well, but the injuries are making me stronger,” Iturbe told Mediaset Premium.

“After the latest setback I worked even harder to be at the disposal of my Coach and my teammates.

“Roma are doing very well now. We are slowly getting back on track and playing the way we did at the start of the season.

“We played some games well, some less well, but I think this team is truly strong and will soon be back to its best.

“Our objective is to win every game from here to the end of the season and go as far as possible in the Europa League.

“It’s a great competition with fine teams who play a similar style of football to us. They play attacking football like Roma.”
