Inter want Man City’s Zabaleta

Inter are considering a move for Manchester City right-back Pablo Zabaleta, according to reports.

The Argentine defender has a contract only until June 2018, with a renewal seemingly unlikely with the Manchester-based club. Despite his 31 years, he could be a useful weapon in Frank de Boer’s arsenal, but a January transfer would involve a fee and is therefore more likely to occur in the summer reports Calciomercato.it.

Inter are not the only club to have been linked with Zabaleta, as it was previously reported that Roma have also been considering a move for the defender. The Nerazzurri may also turn to other options such as Matteo Darmian of Manchester United or Stephan Lichtsteiner of Juventus.
