Federico Dimarco has earned comparisons to Inter legend Alvaro Recoba with his remarkable goal from midfield against Frosinone.
The Italian defender scored one of the best goals this season on Sunday against Frosinone, finding the net from 56 metres (61 yards).
It was reminiscent of one of the best goals in Inter’s history, scored by Recoba away at Empoli in 1998.
The former Uruguay international also found the net from midfield, scoring one of his 71 goals in 261 matches with the Nerazzurri.
Many wondered if Dimarco really wanted to shoot from that far and the Italy international confirmed after the game that he decided to go for the goal when he saw the goalkeeper off the line.
