Inter-Bayern Munich latest: Inzaghi picks Onana over Handanovic

André Onana is set to make his Inter debut against Bayern Munich tonight as Simone Inzaghi has reportedly chosen the ex-Ajax goalkeeper over Samir Handanovic.

The Cameroon international will make his debut at Inter tonight in their opening Champions League group stage game, reports Tuttomercatoweb.

The 26-year-old had joined the Serie A giants on a free transfer from Ajax this summer but watched Inter’s first five league games from the bench.

Tuttomercato confirms Nicolò Barella won’t start tonight, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan set to make his first appearance with the Nerazzurri from minute 1. The former Roma star was introduced in Saturday’s derby della Madonnina against Milan after recovering from a thigh injury.

Romelu Lukaku is injured so Edin Dzeko will replace the Belgian star, partnering with Lautaro Martinez up front.

Inter lost two of their last three Serie A games against Lazio and Milan, while Bayern collected two consecutive draws in the Bundesliga.
