Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne will be included in the Italy squad for the August 14 friendly against Argentina.

That is according to the Corriere dello Sport, who claim that the attacker will be promoted from the Under-21 set-up.

Insigne has already been capped by the Azzurri at full international level. Boss Cesare Prandelli used him as a substitute in September 2012’s 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over Malta.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti and Alessandro Florenzi of Roma will also get the call for the Stadio Olimpico friendly.

New Milan signing Andrea Poli, the midfielder netted from Sampdoria, is being tipped to be included too after he was left out of the Confederations Cup squad.
