Injured Ramsey to sit out of Juventus-Chelsea

Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey will sit out tomorrow’s Champions League clash against Chelsea with muscular fatigue.

The Welshman took part in today’s training session at Continassa, but Allegri ruled him out of tomorrow’s match against Chelsea due to muscular fatigue.

“We had a good training session, apart from Ramsey everybody is available,” the Juventus tactician said at a press conference attended by Football Italia.

Sources told Football Italia that the former Arsenal star suffers from muscular fatigue.

However, Adrien Rabiot returned to training today so he will be available tomorrow. Arthur also trained with the group today, but he’s not fully fit yet.

Ramsey came on as a substitute in Juventus 3-2 win over Sampdoria on Sunday.

He has played 106 minutes over four appearances across all competitions so far this season.

The Welshman joined Juventus as a free agent from Arsenal in 2019.

He has scored six goals in 69 appearances with the Bianconeri. However, he’s missed 20 games due to injuries during his time in Turin.

Ramsey’s €7m-a-year contract at the Allianz Stadium runs out in 2023.
