Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola confirmed he’ll be keeping a close eye on Milan-Roma to “analyse” his upcoming Champions League opponents.
“We have already played against Milan twice this year, but I will still record the game with Roma to analyse them,” said the Spaniard.
It will be a particularly useful encounter on Saturday, as Roma play the 4-3-3 system under former Barcelona B tactician Luis Enrique.
“Milan are a side with great experience, focused in defence and extremely dangerous on the counter-attack. You cannot underestimate such a strong team.”
The two giants go head-to-head in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
They already faced off twice in the group phase earlier this season, drawing 2-2 at the Camp Nou and Barcelona winning 3-2 at San Siro.
