Gnonto and Zaniolo’s agent meets Juventus with Chiesa’s future uncertain

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Wilfriend Gnonto and Nicolò Zaniolo’s agent met Juventus directors on Thursday with the Bianconeri looking for potential Federico Chiesa replacements.

The pink paper claims that Marco Busiello, one of the closest collaborators of Gnonto and Zaniolo’s representative Claudio Vigorelli, was spotted at Continassa on Thursday and met directors Francesco Calvo and Giovanni Manna.

The Bianconeri asked for information about the Italy strikers. Zaniolo joined Galatasaray from Roma this past February, while Gnonto moved to Leeds last summer, but the Premier League side have been relegated this season.

Zaniolo has a €30m clause included in his contract, but Gnonto’s price tag could be lower given that Leeds were relegated to the Championship. According to the report, Juve could sign him on loan with an option to buy.

Juventus are reportedly preparing to potentially replace Chiesa, who could leave for a big offer in the summer. They will surely need a new signing to replace Angel Di Maria who confirmed his exit from the Allianz Stadium earlier this week.
