Galliani wants stellar Milan

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has asked boss Massimiliano Allegri to deliver the club's second Scudetto star.

A gold star can be added to a team's jersey in Italy to represent 10 title wins.

The Rossoneri currently have one, but are just two titles shy of another following their championship success this term.

"Allegri has to make me a promise," smiled Galliani. "We have to get a second star before Inter do. We have to reach 20 sooner than the Nerazzurri.

"That is the objective which Allegri should focus on."

Inter also have one star thanks to their 18 titles, while Juventus have two as a result of their 27 Scudetti – 29 if you include their Calciopoli tainted victories.

"It was an extraordinary season," continued Galliani. "We were top from Week 11 onwards and we won it with two games to go with the best defence in the League – just 22 conceded."
