Done deal: Milan clinch De Ketelaere from Club Brugge

There are reports today that Milan have finally agreed all the details with Club Brugge for Charles De Ketelaere, who should have his medical this weekend, a transfer worth over €35m.

The transfer has dragged on all summer, but at last the breakthrough has been achieved.

According to Calciomercato.com and Belgian reporter Sacha Tavolieri, Milan will pay €32m plus another €3m in add-ons and performance-related bonuses and a 15 per cent cut of any future transfer fee.

Club Brugge had wanted 20 per cent of the future fee, but it will be 15 per cent as long as the sale is over €32m.

The Belgium international also agreed personal terms, a five-year contract worth €2.2m per season.

De Ketelaere has not been training with Club Brugge over the last few days, his coach confirming it was because he was terrified of getting injured and putting this dream move at risk.

The 21-year-old is expected to fly in tonight or tomorrow morning to have his medical over the weekend.
