Done deal: Bentancur and Kulusevski join Tottenham from Juventus

After Dejan Kulusevski, it’s now reported Tottenham Hotspur have also struck a deal with Juventus for Rodrigo Bentancur, ready to complete the double swoop for over €65m.

Sky Sport Italia pundits Gianluca Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano, along with Sportitalia, Calciomercato.com and others, all claim the agreement has been reached for the Uruguay international midfielder.

It will be done for €19m plus another €6m in add-ons and bonuses, although Juve still owe Boca Juniors a 30 per cent cut of that fee.

Done deal: Juventus send Kulusevski to Tottenham

The 24-year-old was signed from Boca Juniors in the summer of 2017 for €15.7m plus a cut of the sell-on fee, which started at 50 per cent and dropped for every year he spent in Turin.

Bentancur has also agreed personal terms with Tottenham and should fly out today for his medical and to sign the contract.

He’ll move to Antonio Conte’s Spurs along with Juve teammate Dejan Kulusevski, who last night clinched his loan for €10m with option to buy for a further €25m, becoming an obligation if Tottenham qualify for the Champions League and he plays in half their games.

There are also bonuses that could take the final figure over €40m.
