Details behind De Ketelaere’s agreed contract with Milan

Charles De Ketelaere is now reportedly a step away from joining Milan after a €35m total deal was agreed with Club Brugge.

The Rossoneri are finally closing in on the 21-year-old Belgian forward’s signature, seeing the light at the end of the tunnel after weeks and weeks of tough negotiations. Milan have had to fight off stiff competition from Leeds United and the fans have been anxiously awaiting every update, desperate to see De Ketelaere in red and black.

As reported by Corriere della Sera, Milan are set to reach a deal with Club Brugge for De Ketelaere this week, ready to pay around €31m plus €4m in add-ons for the 21-year-old.

The Belgian forward has agreed in principle to sign a five-year contract with the Rossoneri, understood to be worth around €2.3m net per season.

Last season, De Ketelaere scored 14 goals and provided seven assists in 33 Jupiler Pro League appearances.
