Roma striker Marco Borriello dropped hints he’s moving to England, where he’s wanted by West Ham and Tottenham.

The former Juventus, Milan and Genoa forward has been repeatedly linked with a Premier League switch in recent weeks.

West Ham are the favourites to clinch his signature, having failed to agree a deal with Inter and Parma for Ishak Belfodil.

He dropped several hints on his Twitter account, including this afternoon’s message, accompanied by a photograph of a cup of tea.

“Waiting for the award of the Ballon d’Or, a good tea is only right… #englishbreakfast …”

The 31-year-old had yesterday also posted a jokey Twitter message after mis-spelling ‘Superfly.’

“Sorry, I really can’t get English into my head!”
