Bologna may drop Dominguez amidst Galatasaray and Nottingham Forest interest

Bologna may not deploy captain Nicolas Dominguez against Juventus due to possible market distractions thanks to Galatasaray and Nottingham Forest.

The 25-year-old Argentinian midfielder has attracted the attention of a number of clubs over the last two months but hasn’t yet left Emilia-Romagna. With less than a week left in the summer transfer window, a move away is now starting to look increasingly unlikely.

Dominguez did not impress in Bologna’s season opener against Milan, looking listless and frustrated as Thiago Motta’s side fell in a 2-0 loss at home. His disappointing work did not go unnoticed.

Page 17 of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Motta is concerned about Dominguez’s focus amidst the interest from Galatasaray and Nottingham Forest, so may leave him on the bench for Bologna’s upcoming clash with Juventus.

Last season, the 25-year-old midfielder, who has entered the last year of his contract in Emilia Romagna, scored three goals and provided two assists in 31 Serie A appearances.
