Atalanta: ‘Ilicic not going anywhere’

Atalanta President Antonio Percassi admits Bryan Cristante could leave, but Inter target Josip Ilicic “will not be going anywhere.”

The Orobici churn out new talent every year and still manage to qualify for Europe, as they finished seventh in Serie A this season.

“The primary objective remains Serie A safety and the second is to keep the books balanced,” Percassi told Bergamo TV.

“Having said that, we aim and believe that we can build an Atalanta side that is stronger and more competitive.

“In terms of sales, Ilicic will not be going anywhere. We received a lot of compliments for Musa Barrow, but no club has made a formal request for him.

“When it comes to Cristante, we need to evaluate a few things.”

Attacking midfielder Cristante has been linked with the likes of Roma, Lazio, Juventus, Inter and Liverpool.
