Arsenal are working to finalise Riccardo Calafiori’s signing, and several sources claim the Italy international will push Jakub Kiwior back to Serie A, even on loan, as long as the deal comes with an obligation to buy.

Calafiori’s Arsenal transfer could bring Poland international Kiwior back to Serie A.

The former Spezia centre-back has been linked with Juventus, Milan, Inter and Napoli and according to Fabrizio Romano and Sky Sport Italia, the Gunners are ready to send him back to Italy once they sign Calafiori.

Romano, however, warns that Arsenal will only accept to loan out Kiwior if the offer comes with an obligation to buy.

Kiwior joined Arsenal in the 2023 winter transfer window for €19.5m.

The 24-year-old has played 38 games with the Gunners, scoring two goals.

Multiple reports claim that Kiwior is Juventus’ plan B if they fail to sign Jean Clair Todibo from OGC Nice.

Milan has been in touch with the defender’s entourage for several weeks but haven’t yet made a formal offer to the Gunners.
