The Bianconeri dive back into Serie A football after a humiliating 4-0 Champions League loss at Stamford Bridge midweek.

“The game is important, but not decisive,” Allegri told DAZN in Turin.

“We know Atalanta play very well with a high tempo, so we need to show pride, technique and above all wipe out the embarrassing performance in London.”

Paulo Dybala returns to the side after injury, starting with Alvaro Morata and Federico Chiesa.

However, despite suggestions this could be a 3-4-3 formation, Allegri assures it will be 4-4-2.

“We are playing with Alvaro as a centre-forward, Paulo near him, as always. I think it will be a dynamic game with technical accuracy and also heart.”
