Zenga in line for Lecce job

Walter Zenga is the latest candidate for the Lecce job, vacated by Coach Gigi De Canio.

This week De Canio tended his resignation despite saving the Salentini from relegation with a late flurry of results.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the short-list has been whittled down to just four tacticians.

Zenga has already worked around the world as a Coach with New England Revs, National and Steaua Bucharest, Red Star Belgrade, Gaziantepspor, Catania, Palermo and since 2010 has been on the bench of Al-Nassr in Dubai.

The next is current Roma Coach Vincenzo Montella, while Serse Cosmi is available again after a 35-day spell at Palermo.

Another interesting candidate would be Giuseppe Giannini, a former Roma player who reached the 1990 World Cup semi-final with Italy.
