Mario Giuffredi, the agent of Mattia Zaccagni, had strong words for Claudio Lotito and Lazio, opening the door for the interested Juventus this summer.

The 28-year-old Italian winger has been one of the most important players in the Biancocelesti squad since his initial arrival from Hellas Verona back in August 2021, scoring 20 goals and providing 18 assists over the last three years.

Zaccagni is still on the initial contract he signed with Lazio, which expires in June 2025, and he has been waiting for a new deal for months now, with talks being opened last year. In the meantime, Juventus have emerged with interest, spotting a transfer market opportunity.

Zaccagni agent fury

Speaking to Corriere di Roma via Calciomercato.com, agent Giuffredi made it clear that Zaccagni would be available in the summer transfer window, sharing his frustration with Lazio.

“I haven’t heard from anyone from the club for 40 days. I don’t know if Lotito has anything else to do, but evidently renewing my client’s contract isn’t his priority, otherwise he’d find time to fix the problem. In the summer we’ll look around.”

The 28-year-old Zaccagni earns around €2m net per season in the Italian capital and has just a year left on his deal, but Juventus may struggle to find common ground with the notoriously shrewd Lotito.
