Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is reportedly exploring a possible summer move for Lazio winger Mattia Zaccagni.

The 28-year-old Italian winger has continued to be a key player for Maurizio Sarri since his arrival from Hellas Verona in the summer of 2021. Over the last three years, he has scored 19 goals and provided 18 assists in 105 games across all competitions.

Zaccagni has just 18 months left on his contract with Lazio and has been waiting for a new deal for some time now. Club president Claudio Lotito has not taken a decisive step forward yet, leaving the winger in the dark.

Pages two to seven of today’s Tuttosport detail how Giuntoli is studying a possible deal for Zaccagni in the summer, keen to add the Lazio winger to Massimiliano Allegri’s squad, especially if Federico Chiesa decides not to sign a new contract with Juventus.

The sporting director was already interested in the 28-year-old during his time in the Napoli backroom and now he’s keen to finally get his man. Fiorentina are also interested in Zaccagni and are closely monitoring the situation.

Zaccagni has already agreed a deal in principle with Lazio, willing to sign a contract lasting until June 2028 worth €3m net per season, but no progress has been made since, prompting his agent Mario Giuffredi to keep an eye on his suitors.
