Why furious Mourinho told Feyenoord coach: ‘Go to watch Napoli’

Sky Sport Italia claims José Mourinho chased Feyenoord boss Arne Slot inside the Stadio Olimpico tunnel last night, shouting ‘respect’ and ‘go to watch Napoli.’

The Giallorossi have earned a spot in the Europa League semi-finals by beating Feyenoord 4-2 on aggregate in the quarter-finals.

There had been tension before the match, with Feyenoord coach Slot admitting he wasn’t a fan of Mourinho’s playing style.

“Their style of football achieves results, but I prefer to watch Manchester City and Napoli. I’m very honest on that,” he said last week.

According to Sky Italia, Mourinho didn’t hold back as soon as Roma secured a 4-1 win at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday night. The Portuguese reportedly chased Slot, who had refused to shake hands on the touchline.

Once inside the tunnel, Mourinho shouted: ‘Respect’ and ‘Go to watch Napoli, watch Napoli now.’

The Special One looked on fire after the final whistle and even gifted a Conference League keyring to a Dutch journalist during his post-match press conference.

Later on, the video of the incident has emerged online and you can watch it below.
