Napoli are looking at other options, as West Ham United come closer to matching the €40m asking price for Piotr Zielinski.
The Hammers are not done shopping in Serie A after spending €36m plus €6m in add-ons and a 10 per cent cut of the sell-on fee for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca.
According to Sky Sport Italia, they are ready to meet the €40m asking price for Napoli midfielder Zielinski.
His contract runs to June 2024 with an option to extend for a further year.
The Poland international spent most of his career in Serie A with Udinese since 2011, a loan spell at Empoli from 2014 to 2016 and then the €16m sale to Napoli.
Last season Zielinski scored eight goals and provided five assists in 42 competitive games.
The Partenopei are prepared to part with the 28-year-old for the right price and are looking at alternatives.
These include Giovani Lo Celso of Tottenham Hotspur and Hellas Verona player Antonin Barak.
