Walcott offers himself to Milan?

The Corriere dello Sport newspaper claims Arsenal and England forward Theo Walcott offered himself to Milan for a January transfer.

The 28-year-old is under contract to June 2019 and has been with the Gunners since January 2006.

His playing time has been very limited this season, making only four substitute appearances in the Premier League, nonetheless contributing four goals and five assists in 13 competitive games.

It’s reported he is concerned that he’ll lose his spot in the England squad going to the 2018 World Cup this summer.

Southampton are the most likely candidates for a return to the club where he grew up, but Milan could be an interesting alternative.

West Ham United, Everton and Newcastle United are also options to take Walcott on loan for the rest of the season.
