There will be an investigation into Dusan Vlahovic’s Juventus medical, as the local health authorities warn he could’ve broken COVID rules by leaving Florence early.
The then-Fiorentina striker had missed the previous Serie A match after testing positive for COVID-19.
He was placed into self-isolation and the moment he tested negative, he travelled to Turin for his medical, completing the transfer to Juventus for over €70m.
There had been suggestions at the time in late January that Vlahovic had broken COVID isolation rules by travelling early.
Now the local health authority (ASL) in Tuscany has signposted a potential violation of the self-isolation order, sparking an official investigation.
It was announced today that the ASL realised Vlahovic was in Turin via the media and a check found he had not been given the necessary all-clear to leave his home.
It is believed Vlahovic was asymptomatic and had already received both doses of the vaccine, as well as a booster shot.
