Video: Pioli and Kjaer assess Milan’s Champions League quarter-final second leg against Napoli

Stefano Pioli and Simon Kjaer spoke to Milan’s internal media on Monday afternoon and gave their verdict on what to expect from Tuesday’s meeting with Napoli in the Champions League quarter-final second leg.

The Rossoneri coach admitted that it was ‘strange’ to face the same opponent three times in such quick succession, but told the cameras that each game has its own story and that Napoli are also facing the same predicament.

Pioli also confirmed that there will be a number of changes to the starting line-up, which isn’t particularly surprising given that he had rested all 10 players who started the first leg of the quarter-final when Milan played Bologna on Saturday.

The 57-year-old expressed his confidence in his team, which was echoed by Simon Kjaer, who played the full 90 minutes of the first leg.

The Denmark national team captain admitted that the return game at the Maradona will be one of the biggest of his career.
