Charles De Ketelaere has been greeted by Milan fans at the airport, finally landing ahead of his €35m transfer from Club Brugge.
The 21-year-old midfielder will have his medical on Tuesday morning, but first landed at Linate Airport in Milan via private jet from Brussels at 00.23 local time.
A deal was finally struck between the clubs for €32m plus €3m in bonuses and a cut of any future transfer fee, believed to be circa 12.5 per cent.
De Ketelaere has eight senior caps for Belgium, having scored one goal, and is a product of the Club Brugge academy.
Last season, he scored 18 goals and provided 10 assists in 49 competitive games.
