Video: Abraham becomes highest-scoring Englishman in Serie A

Roma hitman Tammy Abraham has made history as the first Englishman to score 17 goals in a single Serie A season, beating a Gerry Hitchens record from 1961-62.

The former Chelsea striker bagged a first half brace away to Torino this evening in what is the final league match of the season.

That took his tally to 17, beating the previous Serie A record for an English player, which saw Hitchens net 16 for Inter in 1961-62.

Abraham is also the highest-scoring Roma player in his debut Roma season since Rodolfo Volk got 21 in 1929-30.
