Vincenzo Italiano is expected to go full-strength for his Bologna side’s upcoming Champions League match away against Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday night, as Santiago Castro looks to have recovered from his minor knock.

The Rossoblu are expected to line up in a form of 4-3-3 with first team regulars Michel Aebischer and Remo Freuler likely to be accompanied by either Kacper Urbanksi or Giovanni Fabian in midfield.

Riccardo Orsolini and Dan Ndoye are the expected starters on the wings of fit, and they will likely line up either side of Castro, who has recently been preferred to Thijs Dallinga in the centre-forward role.

Liverpool will be without former Juventus winger Federico Chiesa, and Portugal international Diogo Jota is a doubtz too. Luis Diaz could be afforded a result, which would mean opportunities for the likes of Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo.

Kick-off in Liverpool-Bologna is due at 20.00 BST.
