Three goals in five games for Napoli

Napoli have scored just three goals in their last five Serie A games, and have gone scoreless for two matches for the first time since 2014.

The Partenopei were held to a 0-0 draw by Fiorentina yesterday, with that result following a 1-0 defeat at home to Juventus.

That is the first time Maurizio Sarri’s side have failed to score in consecutive games since the Coach took over, and the first consecutive scoreless games since September 2014.

In addition, Jose Callejon and Dries Mertens haven’t scored in Serie A since they both found the back of the net against Sassuolo on October 29.

After winning their first eight Serie A games in a row, Napoli’s last eight have seen four wins, three draws and a loss.

Sarri's men remain second in the table, one point behind leaders Inter.
