The Argentine international is looking for a new team after he fell out with City boss Roberto Mancini for allegedly refusing to play against Bayern Munich in September.

The Rossoneri have held talks with the player’s agent, but they are not the only club keen on the striker.

“I want to sign Tevez,” said Corinthians’ chief Andreas Sanchez. “We are going to hire a top-class player for 2012 and I hope it will be Tevez.

“I don't know how much we would cost us, but if Tevez decides to move then I'm sure he will play for us.

“If Tevez leaves Europe then he will come to play for Corinthians.”

Milan want to sign the 27-year-old on a loan deal initially, but with an option to buy him outright in the summer of 2012.
