Former Juventus goalkeeper Stefano Tacconi believes the Mauro Icardi controversy “would never have happened at Juve”.
The Inter striker drew the ire of the Nerazzurri Ultras with a controversial passage in his autobiography, but was ultimately allowed to retain the captaincy.
Incredibly, it appears that no-one at Inter had actually read the book, and Tacconi believes that would never be the case in Turin.
“At Juve it wouldn’t have happened,” the ex-Bianconero told Tuttomercatoweb.

“They’d have checked it before, they’re so organised that they rarely let a single thing slip through that could annoy the fans.
“You need people at the club who will do that. This is just how Inter are at an organisational level.”
