Milan’s Adel Taarabt says the Rossoneri are now prepared to fight for one another following Monday’s win over Genoa.

The Moroccan international also appreciates the faith and trust Coach Clarence Seedorf shows in him.

“On Monday we played a great match,” Taarabt told the Milan Channel. “It wasn’t easy because Genoa are very organised and they pressed a lot.

“It was an important victory on the road to the Europa League.

“I like scoring goals but the most important thing is that the team wins. Now you can see we are fighting for each other on the pitch.

“Seedorf always tells us to fight for each other and he has told me that he believes in me a lot.

“If I am tired I need to tell him because there are a lot of other players on the bench who can come on and do well.”

The on-loan QPR man was also questioned about his future.

“I don’t know what will happen, I still have a month and a half in which to do well with Milan.

“I will give everything for this team and I hope everyone remembers my time at Milan as one in which I gave my all.

“I am very happy to be here and I feel like Milan is my club. I want to prove that I am a Milan player.”
