The Italian, formerly of Udinese” data-scaytid=”4″>Udinese and Roma, was being suggested as a summer replacement for Claudio Ranieri at San Siro.

However, the attack-minded Coach has put pen to paper on a new deal with his Russian club until 2015.

Spalletti, who moved to the outfit in December 2009, will also oversee the club’s transfer policy as well as being head Coach.

The ex-Empoli player, now 52, has won the Russian Premier League, the Russian Cup and the Russian Super Cup so far during his spell in charge.
