Sky: Roma meet Dybala, await on answer

Roma are waiting on an answer from Paulo Dybala following Sunday’s meeting, according to reports in Italy.

Recent reports had suggested Dybala’s remaining options for a transfer are Roma and Napoli.

And Sky Sport Italia report a meeting between Roma delegates and Dybala’s entourage took place on Wednesday with the capital-based club now waiting on a reply.

It has long been reported that Dybala has been a personal request from Roma coach José Mourinho and the report suggests he and the club are hopeful the Argentina forward will accept their offer.

Mourinho was recently quoted as saying he was “frustrated” with Roma’s lack of transfer activity but is reported to have made Dybala his No. 1 target.

Dybala joined Juve from Palermo in 2015 five Serie A titles as well the Coppa Italia on four occasions.

In all, he made 293 appearances for the Bianconeri and scored 115 goals before his departure on a free after his contract expired.
