Sirigu closes to Roma, Napoli, Inter

Goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu says he wants to 'develop his career in Paris', dashing the hopes of Roma, Napoli and Inter.

The three Italian clubs had already been linked to the Paris Saint-Germain starter, with the Giallorossi particularly keen to find a successor for Morgan De Sanctis.

But in an interview with French outlet Telefoot, the 'keeper was asked whether he intended to continue with the French club.

But in an interview with French outlet Telefoot, the 'keeper was asked whether he intended to continue with the French club.

“Absolutely, I see my career developing in Paris without the slightest problem,” he replied.

The 28-year-old also extended his contract with the Ligue 1 club last September until June 2018.
