The second leg of the Round of 16 kicks off in Kiev on Thursday at 17.55 GMT.
The Giallorossi won the first leg 3-0 on home turf.
A statement from Shakhtar Donetsk confirmed defender Kornienko had tested positive for the Coronavirus.
All the other Shakhtar players are currently negative.
