Serie A: Roma vs Fiorentina – probable line-ups

Roma will be hoping to return to winning ways in the league when they host a resurgent Fiorentina this evening.

The match between the Giallorossi and the Viola kicks off at 19.45 UK time at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Jose Mourinho’s side have only won one of their last five outings in Serie A and are at danger of slipping out of the top four conversation. Roma are clearly aiming for Champions League qualification and need to show a little more consistency in the second half of this campaign.

Fiorentina had a tough start to the season under Vincenzo Italiano but have started to recover, winning three of their last five league games. Their only disappointment in 2023 so far was a 1-1 draw with Monza and they’ll be dreaming of an away win over Roma as they fight for the European qualification spots.

Roma cannot count on Ebrima Darboe or Georginio Wijnaldum, both of whom are out injured. Lorenzo Pellegrini is also in doubt and Roger Ibanez is unavailable through suspension.

Fiorentina are in the midst of a slight injury crisis and cannot count on Lucas Martinez Quarta, Rolando Mandragora, Riccardo Saponara, Riccardo Sottil or Arthur Cabral. Pietro Terracciano is also in doubt.

Probable line-ups for Roma vs Fiorentina:

Roma (3-4-2-1): Rui Patricio; Mancini, Kumbulla, Ibanez; Celik, Cristante, Pellegrini, Zalewski; Dybala, Zaniolo; Abraham.

Fiorentina (4-2-3-1): Terracciano; Dodo, Milenkovic, Quarta, Biraghi; Amrabat, Duncan; Ikoné, Bonaventura, Kouamé; Jovic.
