Serie A: Milan vs Monza – probable line-ups

Milan will be looking to send a decisive response after their Champions League exit with a win over a mid-table Monza.

The match between the Rossoneri and the Biancorossi kicks off at 11.30 UK time at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan.

Milan crashed out of the Champions League this week after finishing third in Group F, ending up behind Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain. It was a painful result for Stefano Pioli’s side, who did everything they could in their 2-1 win over Newcastle United.

The Rossoneri are starting to emerge from their injury crisis but are still without Marco Sportiello, Malick Thiaw, Pierre Kalulu and Marco Pellegrino. Yunus Musah is still in doubt due to a muscle complaint and Davide Calabria is unavailable through suspension.

Monza have had a decent campaign in Serie A this term and find themselves 10th in the table after 15 matches, tied with Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio. Raffaele Palladino’s side have won two of their last five outings in the league.

The Biancorossi cannot count on the injured Pablo Mari and Gianluca Caprari. Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gomez is also unavailable due to a failed doing test back in October 2022.
