Charles De Ketelaere will start against his former club Milan on Sunday night in the big match of Serie A Round 26.

It kicks off at 19:45 GMT at the Stadio Meazza in San Siro.

Milan’s injury crisis is nearly over as only Tommaso Pobega, Mattia Caldara and Fikayo Tomori are unavailable, but the English centre-back returned to group training earlier this week.

Luka Jovic has received a two-match ban after hitting Armando Izzo in the face last week, so Olivier Giroud starts in attack.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek returns to the starting XI after resting in a 3-2 Europa League loss against Rennes on Thursday night. Ismael Bennacer is favourite over Yacine Adli in central midfield.

Atalanta won the last five Serie A games and haven’t lost a match since December 23, 2023, against Bologna.

Ex-Milan striker De Ketelaere will start in attack for La Dea, but Aleksei Miranchuk is favourite over Italy international Gianluca Scamacca.

Atalanta are seven points below the Rossoneri in the Serie A table, but have a game in hand.
