Serie A line-ups: Milan vs. Salernitana

Olivier Giroud starts in the Milan attack while Sandro Tonali goes on the bench against Boulaye Dia’s Salernitana.

It kicks off at 19.45 GMT.

A win would allow the Rossoneri to climb to second place level on 50 points with their city rivals Inter, 18 below leaders Napoli.

Stefano Pioli must cope without the injured Junior Messias, so Alexis Saelemaekers starts on the right flank, with Theo Hernandez on the left.

Ismael Bennaecr was introduced as a substitute against Tottenham last week and starts against the Granata with Rade Krunic, while Sandro Tonali initially goes on the bench.

Giroud starts again in attack along with Rafael Leao.

Salernitana have travelled to San Siro without the injured William Troost-Ekong. Krzysztof Piątek starts on the bench. The former Milan striker hasn’t scored in the last 12 Serie A matches, his longest goalless streak in Europe’s top five leagues.
