The Gazzetta dello Sport report that Clarence Seedorf remains determined to recoup at least €10m in compensation from Milan.

The 38-year-old retired from playing in January to return to the Rossoneri as Coach, only for an uncertain six months on the bench to be ended this summer.

Unable to agree terms on cancelling the remaining two years of his contract, which is due to pay out €10m in wages before tax, Seedorf is currently placed on effective gardening leave.

It is a situation that the Gazzetta dello Sport indicate today will not continue  indefinitely, with the former midfielder due back in Italy after a stint in Brazil working on television as a World Cup pundit.

The pink paper anticipate a legal battle between Seedorf and Milan over that compensation, with Seedorf seen as having put together a significant team of American and Italian lawyers.

It is also alleged that Seedorf will push for more than just the wages due on his contract, but also compensation for ‘moral and material damages’.
