Sampdoria consider Balotelli?

Sampdoria are reportedly interested in Mario Balotelli, but only if he’s released by Liverpool.

The striker spent this season on loan at Milan, but failed to have the desired impact and President Silvio Berlusconi confirmed yesterday he will leave the Rossoneri.

Having scored just one Premier League goal for the Reds in his one season on Merseyside, it seems unlikely that Liverpool will want to hold on to Super Mario.

According to Premium Sport, Sampdoria are willing to take a chance on Balotelli, but are in no position to pay a transfer fee.

That would mean that any transfer would be dependent on Liverpool releasing the forward, or allowing him to go out on loan again.
