Ronaldo to Manchester City picks up steam as Kane announces Tottenham stay

With Harry Kane announcing his stay at Tottenham, rumours regarding Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Manchester City intensify.

The Portuguese striker is pushing to leave the Bianconeri before the end of the summer transfer window.

His contract with the Serie A giants expires in June 2022, but Ronaldo wants to leave the Bianconeri earlier and his agent Jorge Mendes is in talks with Manchester City over a potential move to the Etihad Stadium.

The Premier League champions appear to be Ronaldo’s only possible destination as, according to multiple reports, PSG are not willing to sign him even if Kylian Mbappé joins Real Madrid.

Manchester City’s primary target was Harry Kane, but the Tottenham striker has announced his stay in North London, so Ronaldo remains the only target for Pep Guardiola’s side.
