Ronaldo: ‘Complicated game with Roma’

Cristiano Ronaldo admits Roma will be “complicated” for Real Madrid, but there are no Lupi stars he wants to swap shirts with.

The Portuguese forward caused a stir when he walked out of the pre-match Press conference, but he seemed to be in a more loquacious mood when speaking to Mediaset afterward.

“The Champions League is a competition that Real Madrid and we players really like,” Ronaldo explained.

The Portuguese forward caused a stir when he walked out of the pre-match Press conference, but he seemed to be in a more loquacious mood when speaking to Mediaset afterward.

“The Champions League is a competition that Real Madrid and we players really like,” Ronaldo explained.

“Tomorrow we have a complicated game, but to get to glory you have to win, so we have to win against Roma.

“I think, in general, Roma have a very good team, with a lot of quality and an equally good Coach [Luciano Spalletti]. Playing away is always difficult, but we have our weapons.

“We’re a top team and we’ll do our best. I’m convinced we’ll play a good game.

“There’s no-one for Roma I particularly want to swap shirts with. They’re all good players. But if someone asks me, I’d have no problem giving them mine.”
