Ronaldo asked information about Manchester City, Mendes working on the deal

Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes is reportedly in talks with Manchester City, while the Juventus star asked for information about the club and the dressing room.

Ronaldo runs out of his Juventus contract in June 2022, but he still hopes to leave the Bianconeri before that date. He started the Serie A opener against Udinese on the bench last weekend and his agent Jorge Mendes is trying to find a new club for the 36-year-old.

Although PSG may sell Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid, Ronaldo doesn’t seem to be a target for the Ligue 1 giants. Both La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia report Manchester City are the only club in talks with the player’s agent.

Fabrizio Romano reports negotiations between Mendes and the Manchester City board are ongoing. However, the deal is ‘complicated’ as there’s less than a week left before the end of the summer transfer window.

Meantime, according to L’Equipe, Ronaldo has spoken to several Manchester City players, asking for information about the club and the dressing room.

Ronaldo reportedly spoke to his compatriots Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias, and Joao Cancelo and is serious about leaving Juventus and moving to the Etihad Stadium.
