Roma consider Falcao offer

Roma are reportedly in talks for Monaco-owned striker Radamel Falcao, but are put off by his €7m wage demands.

According to the Corriere dello Sport newspaper, Edin Dzeko has missed one too many open goals and will be sold at the end of the season, most likely towards China.

The Italian media also claims the Giallorossi identified his replacement as Falcao.

Now 30 years old, the Colombia international has never quite recovered from a serious injury.

Still owned by Monaco, he has flopped in loan spells at Manchester United and Chelsea, so is expected to be back in France this summer.

Roma are said to be interested, but there are several huge obstacles making this a very difficult deal indeed.

Falcao has a non-EU passport and has huge €7m per year wage demands.

There are also big questions over his fitness levels, having scored only one goal in 10 Premier League appearances for Chelsea this season.
