Reports Real Madrid rejected Milan star Rafael Leao

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Rafael Leao’s agent proposed the Milan winger to Real Madrid, but they were not interested.

The Portugal international’s future is in doubt, as his contract only runs to June 2024 and negotiations on an extension are still dragging on.

His performances at the World Cup have also impressed numerous sides, especially as Chelsea had already been prepared to pay €100m over the summer.

However, Real Madrid are seemingly not won over by his charms, because Marca claim that agent Jorge Mendes offered him to President Florentino Perez more than once.

Considering the Merengues already have Vinicius Junior on the left wing and the 22-year-old is also further enhancing his reputation for Brazil at the World Cup.

The clubs who are most interested in a swoop for Rafael Leao include Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Manchester City.

However, he is also still in talks to extend his contract with Milan if they can reach his €9m per season demands with the inclusion of performance-related bonuses and add-ons.
